The WEC is currently in the process of becoming an official partner of the UNIDO and receiving the titel of “consultative status with UNIDO”. A very detailed application with the Senate’s goals, how we can support UNIDO achieve it’s goals, and of our operations has been submitted to the Director General, Gerd Müller.

In June 2023 we will hold an event in Berlin at which several high-ranking members of UNIDO, namely Gunther Beger , Managing Director of the Directorate of SDG Innovation and Economic Transformation, and Prof. Yabin Wu, Head Investment and Technology Promotion Office (ITPO) Bejing. The main topic will be sustainability, more details to come.
