Review of the October 2022 Delegation trip to Seoul, South Korea

This year’s delegation trip led our members and friends to Seoul. The goal was not only to expand the Senate’s international network but more so for our Ambassadors to expand theirs and focus on an intercultural exchange to expand business opportunities and relevant future topics such as R&D and innovation.

As part of the WEC umbrella organisation, the German IWS strives to facilitate dialogues not only on a national but international level. The goal is to build and maintain strong valuable partnerships for all participants.

To kick off the weeklong trip the IWS Senators met up with the German Ambassador to Southkorea, H.E. Michael Reiffenstuel. Visits to Sartorius Korea Biotech, IBM Korea, Hyundai Motor, Schenker Korea, the European Commerce Chamber in Korea (ECCK), the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the metropolitan city of Busan and a visit to the Swiss embassy followed and – as usual – there was an outstanding social programm.
